Staking SOL for Extra Edge

but what can you do for an extra edge?

BTC I think is best held cold stored on your Ledger or other device

but SOL? it's relatively good to stake.

Best native staking option

Any large staking pool with 0% JITO (mev) fee. results in a 10-11% solana staking APY. (7.46% native + 4.28% jito) e.g. Helius

Best liquid staking option

Sanctum is the hub for liquid staking. i'd currently consider:

• jupSOL (13% APY) since it's by Jupiter
• rkSOL (15%+ APY) since it's the most consistent high-yield performer

even if you're staking SOL already - DOUBLE CHECK that your pool is paying out jito rewards too. and remember that non-jito staking (7.5%) is exactly 2x less yield than the best available liquid staking :)
