ETH: The UX Problem

Why ETH is losing ground to simpler alternatives.

·1 min read·13 views

I've shared the thesis before that ETH is failing on the UX side, and it's still true. there's been ideas to abstract away the complexity, but even the top dexes like Uniswap, and top L2's like Base are still failing in this area. it's painful for crypto natives (including me) to use ETH - so how is new money supposed to learn it?

they won't.

institutional money will like BTC since it's simple, and retail adoption will like SOL because it's simple as well. you can onboard a normie friend into solana in a matter of MINUTES.

ETH leads on "TVL" and "stablecoin" metrics, aka a lot of large money is still there, but that's not enough imo to keep it in true demand.

i'd recommend to reduce exposure. even if there's a price surge, it pales in comparison to gains elsewhere.
